I wonder about why Snape gave away his puzzle. Did he or didn't he? Snape may have wanted to use the stone. I'm hoping Snape's unwillingness to call Voldie by name isn't a sign of his turning away. I hope he isn't like Pettigrew, who stays with those who are likely to protect him.
