I definitely agree about Hagrid moving from his hut, to a smaller,
quainter setting, with a lot of personality, and that good old down
home charm. Namely, a 14Lx5Hx8D pinewood box. He is a character that,
whether people actually do, you are supposed to love completely, a
character who the trio adores completely, are very emotionally
attached to, pretty much their only collective friend, and a
character who pretty much has no role or purpose in the overall
storyline. He is a throwaway character, whose death will serve a
great purpose in terms of Trio v V and D v V. His death
would "Crucify" Jo, because she has professed she loves him. I think
it will come near the end of the book, after he has fulfilled his
normal role throughout most of the schoolyear. It will probably be a
taunt from V, V luring Hagrid to him with some kind of creature.
Alex.
