Seeing how I don't have any of the books with me right now, do we ever find 
out if he has told Molly that he doesn't like Maroon? 

The constant appearance of Maroon clothing for Ron might be down to the fact 
that, although he hates the colour, he doesn't want to hurt his mum's 
feelings by telling her that he doesn't like it. 

I also think that Molly keeps on making him clothes in Maroon because she 
thinks it suits him, and not because she loves him any less than the others. 
Percy has a jumper made for him as well, but refuses to wear it until the 
twins force him into it, so Percy too, might hate the colour he always gets, 
but keeps them and bites his tongue so as to not upset his mum. I actually 
find it hard to believe that any of the boys (or even Ginny) truely like the 
stuff their mum makes but again, they put up with it because they don't want 
to upset her.
