Aw, don't be so hard on yourself. I've never been credited with a
FLINT, either, so it's a pretty tough credential to get, I'd say.
Maybe there are lots of reasons the students didn't tell Snape they
knew something about werewolves.

First, Snape specifically asks about what *Lupin* has taught
them: "Are you telling me that Professor Lupin hasn't even taught
you the basic distinction between --" So mentioning Lockhart
wouldn't help a whole lot, other than to make Snape *really* mad.

Second, the students were probably all asleep when Lockhart talked
about this in CoS. :-)

Third, Hermione did raise her hand a few times, and would probably
have recited everything Lockhart said if given the chance.

Fourth, well, it's Snape. The up-side of raising your hand compared
with the down-side doesn't counsel in favor of volunteering anything.

Hey, keep looking for FLINTS, though, and don't get discouraged.
FLINT-spotting is half the fun.

Cindy (who readily admits she didn't think of Vicky's Lockhart-
werewolf thing before)
