Excuse me,but I'm new,so I hope I'm doing this right.  Anyway, isn't the 
silvery stuff that Lupin sees his Boggart - not Patronus?  if it's his 
Boggart, then he would see the moon, which is what he fears the 
most.......like Harry sees a Dementor.
