Gone straight to the library and not have emerged for days. She has a tendacy
to do that.

Well, watching from the stands before wasn't helping much, was it? Quirrel
even said later that if Hermione hadn't knocked him over he would have had
Harry off that broom.

Hey, even with a cure, I still wouldn't want to be bitten. I imagine a
werewolf biting you is very painful. If you got stabbed in the arm, that
could be treated but you still would want to avoid that happening

I assume that Snape suspected Quirrel and figured it out. Snape strikes me as
the type to be untrusting and I bet Quirrel's new found stutter set
suspicions off. Snape is also an intelligent man, so once he suspcted he
peicd the story together.
