He threatens Quirrel in the Forbidden Forest:
"You don't want me for your enemy, Quirrel...We'll have another
little chat soon..." but as far as we know, they don't.

He threatens the tosser of the Filibuster Firework in CoS ch. 11
"When I find out who did this...If I ever find out who threw this...I
shall *make sure* that person is expelled."
We know this is empty, because Snape can only expell
Slytherins.

In PoA ch. 9 he threatens Harry, "Five more points from Gryffindor
and if I have to ask you to sit down again, it will be fifty," and
Harry sits. Then he gives Ron a detention and adds, "and if I ever
hear you criticize the way I teach a class again, you will be very
sorry indeed."

And of course the mother of all Snape threats is in chapter 19,
"Give me a reason. Give me a reason to do it and I swear I will."
Black, who has been advancing on him, stops dead.

In GoF ch. 18, he threatens Harry and Ron with a week's worth of
detentions if they don't go into the classroom, but they do. He
also threatens to make Harry test his antidote, but is interrupted
by the wand weighing ceremony.

Pippin
wondering if this qualifies her as a L.O.O.N.
