British school system (and Hermione's age)

Actually, it sounds like to me you just contradicted yourself.  Didn't
you just say the system was to let those born 1 September-31 August
into the same year-lump?  In that case, Hermione would be about en
months older than Harry.

Then again, that explanation was rather confusing, so maybe I just
read you wrong. :-D
