Hi everyone --

Steve is correct: the HP books are not legally available in e-book 
format at this time.  Accordingly, any e-book version that might be 
circulating somewhere for download would indeed be piracy.  This list 
unequivocally does not condone this practice.  If Scholastic releases 
official e-book versions, we will wholeheartedly endorse people 
purchasing them.

ELF POWERS ON THIS LIST: This list has a number of List Elves (and 
Poltergeists) in addition to the 5 Moderators.  We the Moderators have 
empowered the Elves to step in & enforce List policy or halt 
inflammatory threads in the absence of the Moderators.  Just so you know
