Come on, all good villains bind and gag their captives ;) I think
Wormtail did this for his own protection...what would Voldy have done
to Wormy if Harry spouted off "I save your life and this is how you
repay me?!?" Also, it has been discussed that magic be performed
without a wand...maybe he was bound and gagged so he couldn't perform
any type of incantation. A good point for speculation, Cindy...thanks!
