Not sure who siad this and I apologise for the oversight.
I've always wondered why he just stood there laughing. Why didn't he protest
when they took him away? I seem to have the impression that he just let
himself take the fall without a fight, which just seems too strange.Was he
just shocked about the Potters' death and his perceived role in it?
I always thought it was shock. I believe hysterical laughter is often a
manifestation of shock. It is also a symptom of nervous breakdown. I presume
wizards can have these.
