Privet Drive could be Harry's reservoir, though, couldn't it? After
all, Harry does some rather impressive magic there, all of it
unintentional. In fact, the only times we see Harry do magic without
a wand is at Privet Drive, IIRC, which suggests that Privet Drive is
where Harry is at his most powerful. So maybe he has to go there in
the summer to re-charge his reservoir of power?
