Actually, the Longbottoms were driven insane by the Cruciatus Curse, not the IC. 

I have to disagree with another post that suggested the Longbottoms will be "cured" in a later book. I just don't see that happening. That's too "happily ever after" for JKR, IMHO.

But, I do see Neville taking his school friends, at least Harry, to see his parents. I think that everything that happened in GOF will serve to make Neville stronger and be able to face the hand that life has dealt him. I think he'll be eager to want to serve the side of good against Voldy's army. And I think he'll want to talk about it with people he trusts.
