I agree with you Lotus. I think that Neville will become stronger in 
the next books. Even in PS/SS you see him begin to stand up for 
himself and be rewarded for it (10 points to Gryffindor) and help win 
the house cup. His character is interesting..typical sort of geek but 
destined to grow up and show he is a wizard genius...he will probably 
be the "brains" behind the operation (kind of like a mad scientist!) 
Remember his excellent marks in Herbology in PS/SS?? ;)
