Makes sense -- When I think about it, there are actually numerous
things astronomical that might affect magic:
Solar flares/sunspots
Solar Wind
Aurora Borealis (any in Scotland??)
Gravitational forces from the moon and planets
Radio waves from Jupiter, neutron stars, etc.
X-rays from black holes
Cosmic rays from supernovae
Gamma-ray bursts (which remain unexplained -- "Avada Kedavras" in
space??)
And so on...
