Neville: Extremely out there speculation...

I also believe that Neville will be a bad-ass in the books.  I don't 
know exactly what it is, but I see him as someone who maybe by 
birthright (his dad was an auror) is very powerful, and is just 
waiting for the chance to prove himself.  Ever since I read SS, I 
thought his bumbling routine was a red herring. 

He could be head of MoM, but I just don't see him with Ginny- bad 
asses don't get the girls- look at Sirius (and Voldemort as well).  
And before someone attacks me, I don't see James Potter as a bad-ass, 
just very powerful and a smart-aleck.
