Which girl was it in that first divination class who was told beware a
red-headed man? Was it Parvarti Patil or Lavender Brown? Maybe that'll
tie in to Ron's Ms Wrong...
Was Dumbledore aware that Trelawny had predicted Hermione's leaving
the divination class or was there another prediction he was thinking
of when he states that she had been correct on two predictions. Or was
this indeed a prediction that has something to do with the event of
the 31st of October 1980 (or whenever we decided "the Boy Who Lived"
took place).
What other predictions did she make the first day? Neville would break
a cup...that happened. "That thing you fear will happen...", the
rabbit died...though this seems rather coincidental as Hermione points
out. Wish I had the book handy....
Her first predictions seem to be coming to pass, though she
misinterprets Padfoot for a grim. I think for the most part her class
serves as comic relief...and a source for red herrings.
