I'm more inclined to think that "falling in love with the wrong persons" 
meant more who the Trio *thinks* they are in love with. Ron is attracted to 
Fleur's beauty and mistakes his feelings as something more, as typical with 
boys his age. He needs to realize his true feelings for Hermione, as they are 
obvious to everyone but the two of them. JKR has also stated that there *is* 
something between Hermione and Ron...Ron just hasn't realized it yet. And I 
echo her in saying "typical boy"!
