Many people do, and I have remembered that quote.  However, I hardly 
think it is strong evidence for Hermione having romantic interest in 
Ron.  In fact, my recent reread convinced me that there are 
more "romantic interest clues" in Harry's favor than in Ron's -- 
starting with the hug and compliments in SS and ending in the kiss at 
King's Cross in GF.

Now, other than that quote, what else do you consider part of the 
*much* evidence on Hermione's side?
