I also wonder about whether our predictions will be accurate. I will
be stunned if JKR is able to fool all of the people all of the time.
After all, I'd guess I'm personally responsible for about 100 wacky
theories, and some of them even contradict themselves. At least one
will have to be right. :-)

It would be interesting, though, to know which theories people are
really serious about. Sometimes, one of us posts a theory, and I
wonder whether the person is *really* serious or just having some
fun. Wouldn't it be interesting if, as OoP gets closer, listies had
to go on record and post their three most specific (and not obvious)
predictions about OoP?

Cindy (still working on a wacky theory about how Real Moody must have
spared Fredwolfa's life based on the fact that (1) lots of giants
were killed by Aurors; (2) Real Moody was a very good Auror who never
killed if he could help it; (3) only Hagrid joined Dumbledore in
applauding Moody when Moody first entered the Great Hall; and (4)
Hagrid and Moody went for drinks together in Hogsmeade)
