"Lucius was on the Board; the youngest since Salazar was there
> Evil rumours followed him, but Lucy-boy was just too rich to care
> It was whispered all around Big V had had a fling
> No-one had ever come between Lucy and the King
> And no-one ever would
> Except maybe
> The lover of the Jack of Hearts."

This actually a take-off on a Bob Dylan song, and has been changed to
fit the world of Harry Potter. I do actually believe that this
"song's" message is true. I agree that Lucius is a very close
supporter of Voldermort, but I'm not sure that Voldemort is going to
be that happy with him for denying it. I also agree that Voldermort is
using Lucious's mansion as a safe-deposite box, to say.
When Harry finds out where Lucious is hiding his dark magic stuff
(when Harry gets lost using flew powder) it doesn't seem that he takes
any action on that. To me, it seems a bit queer, maybe it will pop up
in future books.
