When I was re-reading SS/PS last night, at the
end when Harry faces Quirrell in the chamber,
Quirrell mentioned something to the effect of
Voldy being upset about Quirrell's failure to
break into the vault at Gringott's and get the
stone. Quirrell then states that Voldy says he
wanted to keep a CLOSER watch on him (or
something to that effect, don't have the book
with me at work). When I read that, I
interpreted it to mean that Voldy didn't actually
enter Quirrell's body until after the failed bank
heist. Not sure where he might of kept him up to
that point, but it would explain how Quirrell was
able to touch Harry at the Leaky Cauldron without
being harmed. Any thoughts?
