Favorite Outlandish Theories

Among my pet theories:

 Severus Snape is related to Harry Potter. I generally think this is through James Potter (all three are black-haired, fair-skinned, and have some natural talent for moving about silently), but it may in fact be through Lily.  Harry's ability to "reflect" the Avada Kedavra curse may have been the result of something project Snape was secretly involved with. Snape may have been associated with the Order of the Phoenix. It may be that only Dumbledore knows this. 

 It may be possible that Lily Potter is not dead in the strictest sense, but magically "indisposed" in some manner. Dumbledore may know this. It may have something to do with why Harry has to keep going back to the Dursleys on holiday. She may be a ghost.

 Beauxbatons Headmistress Madam Maxime and possibly Fleur Delacourt are among  Voldemort's supporters. Now that he has returned, they will seek out friendships with people intimate with Dumbledore and/or Harry and will betray them. Maxime may be responsible for a tragedy involving Hagrid.

 Percy Weasley will turn maximum twit and will endanger some members of his family. This will not be quite intentional. Neville Longbottom will be instrumental in righting this situation, causing Ginny Weasley to turn her affections toward him - much to Harry's relief. 

 Harry himself may be the "Phoenix."
