Good day, everyone! After a couple of days of
most enjoyable lurking, I'd like to introduce
myself, if you don't mind, with my answer to
Pam's Q.

My younger adolescent child had read all four
books, even going to the midnight release of GoF
with her dad, but it never occurred to me to read
'em. Then my good friend mentioned that she was
reading HP, and I figured it was just another of
her attempts to be young and cool. But one day on
vacation, with no reading left except my child's
copy of CoS, I grabbed it to pass a few minutes -
and put it down about 4 hours later!!!

Hooked in spite of myself. And so delighted to
find this discussion group!

Yours ever, I am - or would be, if I'd had
anything to say about my name - Wendelin Wulthur,
but everyone calls me Deborah ;)
