That's a really interesting theory. But Fleur and Gabrielle's last name
is Delacour, not Delacort. Delacour, if I remember my French lessons
correctly, means "of the heart;" Fleur's whole name means "flower of the
heart." I don't know if that changes the interpretation at all, apart
from removing the suggestion of them being old nobility, but I can't
quite see someone whose name means "flower of the heart" turning against
her friends. :) Then again, I'm of the school that doesn't really
believe Fleur will make any further significant appearances in the books,
so what do I know?
