Something I have always wondered as well. I'm thinking an enclosed
letter of explaination would tell muggle parents about the whole
wizarding world, why it's a secret, how to access Diagon Alley and
Platform 9 3/4, etc. etc.

Another thing which bothers me is the fact that there is no wizarding
elementary school. Wizarding children obviously don't go to muggle
school or they would know more about the muggle view of the world. (and
electricity) So where do they go?
