Hermione's age and Krum (and why it matters)

    First of all, if Krum had been 18 at the QWC like Ron suggests, 
wouldnt he have already left Durmstrang? Maybe Ron was mistaken and 
Krum was actually 17. That would make me feel better about why he was 
putting the moves on Hermione. 
    Also, if Hermione *is* older than H/R, she would have been 15 
throughout most of the 4th year. Then it wouldnt seem at all out of 
the question that she could begin to date Krum as a 17 or even 18 
year old. I certainly dont think an 18 year old man (soon to be 19) 
would ask a 14 year old to visit him in another country over the 
summer.
