IMO, friend, the meaning is much more similar. I believe that the original
title "Harry Potter and the Doomspell Tournament" was the official title
until it got leaked to the press. Bloomsbury/Scholastic were having kittens
trying to make it a mass media event, and got JKR to change the name to
"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" and the tournament to "Tri-Wizard
Tournament".
