Owl-repelling charm

I love this idea, about a charm that exists which can prevent a witch or
wizard from receiving unwanted owls.  (Too bad there isn't such a charm
to keep me from getting junk mail...but oh well.)  There's one hole in
this theory, however -- if such a charm existed, undoubtedly our bookworm
Hermione would have found out about it.  And if she had, she could have
cast it to prevent all that hate mail from being sent to her in GoF after
Rita Skeeter's horrible articles.  Certainly that would have been simpler
than hands full of bubotuber pus...poor kid.
