Theories on McGonagall being disloyal?

Signed up new to the list today (well, yesterday) and
have read all the things I could get my modem on today
(..yesterday), so I *don't think* this topic has been
discussed. At least in the faq's. :)

What say ye to the idea of Prof. McGonagall being the
one who betrays Harry?

(Sound of listmembers blinking in unison around the
world. Sound of IRL friend shrieking in disbelief.)

^^;

It's now 5:06 a.m. as I write this, and even being a
night owl by nature (pun), this is rather late for me,
so I hope I put my theory across well enough for
debate.

By NO means is this my 'pet theory', only something to
spark conversation. :)

--------
Note: Most of my "evidence" comes in the form of this
article:
http://www.i2k.com/~svderark/lexicon/faq/mcgonagall.html
, which, when I read it a few hours ago, set wheels in
motion. Any other 'evidence' that a listmember can
provide (in the interest of Devil's Advocate, or
extreme amusement at a somewhat unlikely theory), is
welcome. :)

1. Why was McGonagall in front of the Dursley's in
the first place?

Sinister reason A: Voldemort put her there to take
out Mrs. D, as she's related to Lily. And/or to take
out the entire family as the Potters 'might' have left
Harry with them.

Sinister reason B: McG was looking specifically for
Dumbledore to attempt to do the proverbial "knife in
the back" for Voldemort. Her questions of, "is it
true? Is Voldemort dead?" are shock of her lord being
gone.

"Evidence" that she works for Voldemort: She
expresses keen dislike for the idea of leaving Harry
with the family. Not for the 'motherly' reasons of
"these people are terrible!" but because she knows
Dumbledore would likely have some sort of protections
on Harry, ones he wouldn't even discuss with a
Hogwart's teacher. And as "only" a teacher, she
wouldn't have a reason to check up on him, so she has
to wait for 10 years to get a crack at him.

2. Her "soft spot" for Harry/Not punishing him.

Instance A: When he 'breaks the rules' by flying while
Hootch is gone.
She's delighted that Harry is interested in a sport
that could likely injure or even kill him. (to
slightly mis-Quote the "Quidditch through the ages"
book I'm borrowing, "First rule of Beaters - get rid
of the Seeker.") Seeker is perhaps THE most dangerous
of positions, depending on how good your Beaters are
and how good the opposing team is. (Or rather, how
bad).

Instance B: The Norbert/Draco/Trio scene, where she
concludes that the reason they were on the tower was
to get Draco in trouble.
By this pronouncement, she gets out of having to get
Hagrid in trouble (so the Trio can continue sneaking
out at night and perhaps wander into the Forest...),
while still keeping her "strict enforcement of the
rules" guise in place.

Instance C: The defeat of the troll.
My goodness, three First years defeat a mountain troll
and they only get ten points? Her annoyance at them
not being hurt/killed by the troll showing much? :)

Instance D: Dementor's Kiss on Crouch JR.
She was there; she could have stopped Fudge in some
way, couldn't she? Of course she... *could*... have...
But if Crouch JR was *that* buddy-buddy with
Voldemort, could he not have also known that McG was
as well? She'd want to protect her cover, wouldn't
she?

---------

Ah, well, it's 5:30 am and I've got to write a silly
college paper on (ugh) the differences+similarties
between Roselynde and As You Like It, as is related to
one insignificant character (to turn in on Monday). :P
Huzzah.

For the record, I love McG, but.... could it be? :)
Devil's Advocate for this 'evil' McG is much
appreciated. :) Though I'd love to have this
'evidence' I've collected refuted. :)

(Is this some first introduction or what? I wonder if
this list normally goes, "Hi, I'm a n00b by the
handle... and my favorite book is.... and I am this
age... Mmm..)

Yes, you can see I'm in need of sleep. I'll read it
over and send it. :)
