Terrible as this might seem! I was not an only child and I most 
certainly did not have a nanny but I will admit that I was very 
bookish as it were! I read and extraordinary amount for my age and I 
liked to know lots and like Hermione I like to inform others!! 
(Oops!) How annoying!! I was always very (Lets say) Vocal in class 
and not short of an opinion! 
I think it came from a desire to draw attention to myself! and also a 
need to know anything and everything. Maybe Hermione is lacking 
something and makes up for it by being the person who knows all and 
has an opinion on all, lets face it doesn't Ron say "no wonder no-one 
can stand her" Maybe she finds it hard to make friends and therefore 
tries to impress everyone with her knowledge! 

What does everyone think? Have I gone too far? sorry if I have but 
I'm sort of new to all this
