Interesting, most sources I have about Flamel say "around 1330".  Even my 
works by Agrippa has Flamel's age as (?1330-1417).  Both are a speculation.  
No one is really sure of his death date, either.  LOL

Ya know, if you set it during the 91-92 school year, the kids will complete 
Hogwarts school (97-98) the year PS/SS was published for us.  That is another 
thing to look at.  *grin*  I like that idea.
