Why is Lupin afraid of the floating silver orb?

I'd bet that Lupin is in a group of lycanthropes who are afraid of 
their transformations.  Hence, his boggart = fear of the moon (the 
trigger of those transformations).  I'll go out on a limb and say 
that now that Voldy is back in town we'll be seeing lycanthropes that 
have *no* fear of the creatures they become.  Or who may enjoy the 
terror and pain they inflict.
