Perhaps Parvati was brave enough to refuse Seamus' invitation, even 
though at the time she had no other prospect?

Colin is brave enough following Harry around when clearly not wanted, 
while Dennis is totally fearless - falling in the lake is nothing to 
him.  You could argue that he isn't brave at all in that bravery is 
overcoming fear - but if we do take that tack, we need to re-evaluate 
*all* the characters.
