The November date was when the book was originally scheduled for 
publication, and I suspect the clerk you spoke to didn't realize the 
date had changed.  A month or month and a half ago, Scholastic books 
released a financial statement saying that they expecting earnings to 
be down in Fiscal Year 2002 because there would be no new HP book.  
Fiscal Year 2002 ends for them on May 31st, so I take from that that 
the earliest publication date will be June 2002.
