   I saw Harry's reaction while under the Sorting Hat to the notion 
of joining Slytherin as a reflexive Griffyndor reaction to that 
house, coupled with a total aversion to being in ANYthing with Mal-
foy.  I don't think that his plea "Not Slytherin!" was reasoned or 
prejudiced, because as Cindy pointed out, Harry was new to his 
destiny, and therefore "had no knowledge of the Wizarding World when 
he reaches these conclusions."
