Um, you cut off the reference --> "than Ron (SS..."

SS is Sorceror's Stone.  You cut off the page number; viz. page
122 in the American edition.  The full sentence reads:

"Thomas, Dean," a Black boy even taller than Ron, joined Harry at
the Gryffindor table.
