That's something I've been wondering too actually...why can't Harry 
stay at Hogwarts over the summer? If Tom asked to do it then you can 
see that it is a possibility. Why does Dumbledore continue to send 
Harry back to a family that don't love him? It can't be about safety 
because otherwise it would be safe for him to be there during term 
time. Hmmmm... anyone any ideas?

Secondly, where do the teachers live? Do they live in Hogwarts all 
year round? Or in Hogsmeade? Or do they have quarters during term 
time and then go elsewhere during the long holidays? Maybe some of 
them even have families living in different parts of the country. Can 
you imagine it...Professor Trelawney married? I pity her husband if 
she is! You couldn't make her a cup of tea without having your death 
predicted!
