You're braver than I am. I looked at the 300 +
messages, skimmed a bit, then deleted the whole lot.

Well, if an owl delivered it, I'd open it! Maybe the
letters to Muggle born children are delivered in such
a way that the parent knows it legit?

Maybe they mailed it to a Wizard post office and
Hedwig picked it up from there?
