Actually I find it an useful discipline to keep each message to a 
particular topic and not post replies to everything that I have 
thoughts about. I am sure other list members find the same discipline 
useful (otherise we would have even more messages than we do). 

The key for me is whether there is some unifying thread justifying 
the material being in the same post even if it refers to many other 
posts. 

Clearing out some files came across this listing for people setting 
out to use online learning resources. A mix of slightly humorous, 
some serious and not necessarily inconsitent thoughts. For what its 
worth... and some thoughts may actually be relevant to the action in 
the Potterverse...
