Mars the planet was named after Mars the Roman god of war, who
was most definitely a "he," so that's probably what Professor
Trelawney is alluding to. My guess is that the appearance
(and/or brightness) of the planet Mars indicates strife -- which
is, after all, overwhelmingly likely under the circumstances. We
=know= there's a war coming up!
