I think that Godric Gryffindor's decendents live in and around 
Godric's Hollow and that Harry's paternal line, the now nearly-wiped-
out Potters, are the last heirs. 

I also like the suggestion that one of Harry's ancestors was Bowman 
Wright, the inventor of the Golden Snitch, and that it is the profits 
from this invention that gave Harry's father his fortune.
