Hi everyone

Having spent the whole morning haunting my phone and praying, I can finally
relax, my immediate family is all ok.  I have a lot of neighbors and friends
who work in that area, so i'm really afraid someone won't come home tonight.
Being away at college so hard -- I can't even get thru on the phone.
Everyone's afraid.

But I have an especial request for everyone.  Please, please, say a prayer
for the emergency personnel.  My dad is a police officer on long island and
he will probably be sent in to help with recovery tomorrow.  My family knows
city cops and fireman, and both paid and volunteer police, FD, and all first
aid personnel are risking themselves to help everyone there.  Along with the
victims of the tower collapses are the emergency personnel who went in after
the planes hit.    These people can't run away.  No matter how bad it is,
how scared they are, they keep going.  They are fathers and mothers and
siblings and parents and sons and daughters, and they need all the good
wishes they can get.  Even after this has been resolved, someday, they will
still have the nightmares to wake them up at night.

I am praying for everyone, and hoping beyond hope that everything will all
turn out ok...
