I was really worried--I heard about it seconds after
it happened from a friend in Florida who watched the
news. But I couldn't watch, as there were no TVs on
campus I could get to.

I was extremely worried, as I have a very close friend
whose mother works in the Pentagon. However, she
called in sick to work. Talk about lucky. 

My hopes and wishes go out to everyone, and my
sympathies go out to the families of those who died. I
feel so helpless...I can't do anything to help, I
can't give blood because I'm anemic, and i'm too far
away to do much other than feel shocked and useless...
