One of our Canadian TV channels now says that CNN has
confirmed 3 aircraft heading for Western Canada
(despite the fact that North American airspace is
closed) and that CR-18 aircraft have been sent out to
investigate. DND (Dept of National Defence) has not
been able/willing to confirm or deny this report. 

Our airports remain closed, though the Parliament
buildings have re-opened this morning. Yesterday all
downtown businesses in Ottawa closed early. My
daughter works in our large downtown mall and had to
stay at work until she could reach her boss for
permission to close. She was the last business open in
the mall, closing at 7:30 pm. I stopped by to see her
and her first concern was for all the people on this
list.
