Here's me:
Two of the hijacked planes took off from the Boston airport.  Consequently many Boston citzens were on the planes and Boston is more directly involved than most areas (aside from where the planes crashed, of course).

I'd like to remind everyone about the fourth plane that crashed.  It too would have crashed into a building if not for the passengers.  Through cell phones they found out about the 3 other planes that had been hijacked and crashed into buildings.  The passengers attacked the hijackers so they couldn't crash their plane into a building too.  They were successful, but still died when the plane crashed off target in the small town of Somerset, Pennslyvania.  We'll never know how many lives they saved.
