It's coming up to midday here in Britain, so it must be about 7am on
the East Coast of America. I wanted to make one last post about the
terrible events of last Tuesday.

I have just come back from a short memorial service and wanted to tell
people about it. All across the UK today at 11am, there was a three
minutes silence as a mark of respect for those who died and those who
were injured in the terrible events of last Tuesday. This has taken
place all across Europe as they reached 11am.

I work in a little town in the South of England. It probably has a
population of about 6000. The idea that this town could just be wiped
out of existence in a matter of minutes; that so many lives could be
taken so quickly still seems impossible to believe.

I wanted you to know that on the day of mourning which has been called
for in America, people from all over the world are joining with you in
thought. I send you the love and thoughts of everyone who was at that
service.

Love Frances
