It'll be a woman, but I'm going to buck the trend and suggest 
it's *not* Mrs Figg - I think she's going to have more important 
things on her mind than teaching curses to third years...

As long as it's not Snape, I don't care.  I think Dumbledore will go 
eventually - perhaps he will disappear and reappear, like Gandalf?
If anyone dies in book five I think it will be Dumbledore, but I 
don't think he'll *really* be dead.

I hope a lot of the characters will get to grow, but I'm not 
expecting any immediate transformations - I expect to see mroe of him 
standing up for himself though (like he did to Harry, Hermione & 
Neville in PS/SS)

Not 'officially', but to those working with Dumbledore.

Hmmmm, three more books, surely JKR can't do three more big 
confrontations?  Not a showdown like GoF, but, obviously, some sort 
of confrontation.

I'm going to do a bit of my own crazy name-guessing; a Fletcher makes 
arrows, so I think Mundungus will make the tools for the battle 
against Voldemort. Perhaps he makes the foe-glasses, or special 
poitions?

Not special, but it will be stronger than a normal hand.
