You have treated the matters of religion and sexual orientation as 
sacred cows, the mere mention of which will cause the poster to burst 
into flames.  Now you are collecting data on the faiths and sexuality 
of the members?  What is important is not the percentage makeup of the 
list, but our views and the free exercise of an opportunity to speak 
about them within the bonds of courtesy.  I do not answer these 
questions on US government forms.  I think you are literally out of 
order in this matter.  What should come first is an explanation of 
what need there might be for such polls and the uses to which this 
information will be put. You have not earned the benefit of the doubt 
here by your previous actions, IMHO.  Whether or not you will publish 
personal information, this information is personally linked to each 
one of us listees.
