ghosts and RL's happiness

The OoP derby (check out OTChatter and contribute, it's a blast) 
stimulated a pair of questions I don't recall being discussed here 
before.  It all started with a prediction that Lupin would die in 5, 
to which I said JKR says he'll have a role in 7, to which Heidi said 
he could come back as a wereghost.  So, the questions:

Do you think any characters will be active after death--e.g. get 
murdered by Voldemort or henchmen but then deal them a blow from 
ghosthood later?

(Since JKR has commented in an interview that the happiest people 
don't become ghosts)  Is Remus happy?
